    Attitude is everything

Kent Cricket are introducing a new exciting format of softball cricket, ideal for those new to the game from 5-11 years old – a cross between Kwik Cricket and the Hundred.

The Forty5 Club Competition

  • The Forty5 is a new format similar to the Hundred.
  • Teams of 6 play as pairs and bat for 15 balls each, with games lasting around 40mins.
  • This competition is for Softball cricketers only
Hardball players should not be included in any teams. A hardball player is defined as someone who plays, or trains with hardballs on a regular basis.
  • Teams that enter will be split into local cluster groups and play in 2 festivals hosted by clubs during June and July, against other teams playing each other twice, the winners of each group will then go through to the county finals in September.
  • There will be TWO competitions for :-
    • Under 9’s age group
All players must be 8 years old or younger at midnight on 1st September 2021
    • Under 11’s age group
All players must be 10 years old or younger at midnight on 1st September 2021
  • Teams to provide a competent umpire & scorer for each game, this can be done by 1 person.
