Folkestone CC juniors have made a fantastic start to the delayed 2020 cricket season by winning all three cups in the Saxon Shore League.
This is the first time in the clubs history that this has been achieved!
The U13s took on Walmer on Friday 31st July at Three Hills.
Shazil & Ryder batted beautifully and both retired on 30 not out and a quick-fire cameo from Ved saw FCC post a credible 125 for 2 of their 20 overs.
Walmer only managed 92 of their 20 overs. Izzak and Harrison both grabbed 2 wickets each.

On Sunday 2nd August Folkestone U11 Great White Sharks took on Walmer in the U11 Cup Final.
The U11s play pairs cricket – 8-a-side where each pair bats for 5 overs each. The team loses 5 runs for each wicket lost.
FCC batted first and posted a massive score of 163 for the loss of only 2 wickets – Yuvraj top scored with 30 not out
They then bowled and fielded magnificently to restrict Walmer to 96 for 12 – Issac, Yuvraj, Sunny & Thomas all getting 2 wickets each.

On Tuesday 4th Aug it was the turn of the FCC Spitfires team to play Deal Vics Dynamos in the U15 Cup final at The Clubhouse in Deal.
They anticipated a tough match as the Dynamos had recently inflicted a big defeat on our other U15 team in the semi-finals.
Deal batted first and their openers got them off to a flying start. However the Spitfires dug deep and eventually skittled them all out for 134 in 17 overs.
Ibrahim and Jacob took 5 wickets between them.
After losing an early wicket, Ryder (30 not out) and Ibrahim (55 retired) steadied the ship and saw Folkestone home with 4 overs to spare.
