Folkestone CC Golf Day 2025

We are pleased to confirm details of the Annual Folkestone Cricket Club Golf Day on Friday 3rd October 2025 at Etchinghill Golf Club.

The format will be the usual Stableford competition, which will be followed by the prize giving accompanied by a two-course meal and coffee in the evening.
We have limited availability so it will be purely on a first come first served basis!
There will of course be the opportunity for non-golfers to attend the dinner afterwards.

Please spread the word and book your places so that we can arrange an enjoyable day’s golfing and hopefully raise much needed funds for the junior section of the Cricket Club.
It’s also a great opportunity to catch up with old friends.

We very much hope our good friends from the Hampshire Stragglers will be joining us once again this year to compete for the Sumpter Trophy.
They first visited Folkestone in 1966, just 3 months after England won the World Cup, to play cricket against Folkestone CC and several other local sides.
If you are unable to attend this event, you can still be involved, as we are looking for hole sponsors or any kind donations to assist in raising as much money as possible for the Cricket Club, so there is no excuse to not be involved!

A big thanks goes out to Stuart Ingleston, who has been been meticulously organising this event for several years – raising much needed funds for the cricket club.
