Folkestone Cricket Club are delighted to have been awarded a grant from the Barclays Community Sport Fund, being delivered in partnership with Sported.
The Barclays Community Sport Fund offers grants, training and support resources to help reduce inequalities in sport – with a focus on football, tennis and cricket. The fund supports community groups and grassroots sports organisations (like ours) who make sport more accessible to young people from underrepresented groups.
Sported is a charity which delivers expertise, resources and vital support to clubs and groups that use sport and physical activity to make a positive impact on young people – and on our communities – throughout the UK.
The grant will help us make our activities more accessible for women and girls in our community.
