FCC Junior Winter Raffle 2022

Folkestone Cricket Club are hosting a fantastic Winter Raffle with a selection of amazing prizes. Tickets are £5 and can be bought online or at our training sessions.
The final draw will be made on 29th March 2022.

• The aim is to raise funds to support our fantastic junior section at the club.
• Our junior section is flourishing thanks to the Monday training sessions and the competitive cricket that we offer.
  Our juniors compete in the following leagues:- Saxon Shore League, Ashford League & Canterbury League.
• Last year, our ECB All Stars sessions provided a fantastic first experience to all children aged 5-8 years old and we are pleased that a lot of them have now joined our regular U9 sessions.
• This year, we plan to bring ECB Dynamos Cricket to Three Hills – this provides a fantastic next step for all those graduating from All Stars Cricket and the perfect introduction for all 8-11 year-olds new to the sport!
• The club is also excited to announce plans to form a new “girls only” section run by Heather Southgate.
  We are arranging to deliver taster sessions to local primary schools for girls aged 8-11 in Terms 3 & 4.
  “Girls Only” training sessions will take place on Monday evenings in the summer.

To make all this possible we need ECB qualified coaches.
The club is please to announce that FIVE people have kindly volunteered to undertake and have passed coaching courses at Canterbury in March.

They now become an important part of the FCC coaching family that works together to help players improve, have fun, be safe and learn at every stage of their development.
